Ed Candland Bow Rehair supports The International Pernambuco Conservation Initiative, a non-profit for the conservation of sustainable pernambuco materials in Brazil.

Ed received training and certification at the University of New Hampshire, under the direction of bow maker Lynn Armour Hannings. He trained in the French tradition using traditional techniques and tools. On the workbench (lovingly referred to as The Slab) Ed takes apart, cleans, and prepares bows: his methods are traditional and reliable.
